Sun Mountain Lodge, set in the Cascade Mountains, offers a great blend of outdoor activities and romantic amenities at this rustic chic resort. There are four main room types: The Main Lodge, Mt. Gardner, Mt. Robinson, and Patterson Lake Cabins. The rooms in the Main Lodge offer amazing views of the North Cascades or the Methow Valley and National Forest and are closest to the amenities. The Mt. Gardner rooms offer two types of rooms - one with a queen bed and one with a king bed. These rooms offer a separate living area, a private deck or patio, and a fireplace. Mt. Robinson is similar to Mt. Gardener; however, it features a wet bar and a whirlpool bath with views - each one of these rooms is equipped with a king bed.

Lastly, the Patterson Lake Cabins are cozy accommodations about 1.2 miles below the main lodge. These cabins are family-friendly since they range in size from one-bedroom units (a couple with small children) to Loft Suites (up to 5 people) and Grande Suites (up to 8 people). The cabins are equipped with a full-sized kitchen, gas fireplaces, lakefront porches, and air conditioning. Moreover, there are various activities within Sun Mountain Lodge from horseback riding, Cowboy Dinner, rock climbing, river rafting, ice skating, hockey, skiing, and more. No matter the time of year you come to this lodge, there will be something to do. They even have a spa, library, petting zoo, and game room.

5. Treehouse Point

For a unique and unforgettable romantic stay, Treehouse Point, located in a forest near Snoqualmie Falls, is a great place to visit. You can stay in one of seven cozy treehouses at this whimsical bed and breakfast. Although they offer a complimentary breakfast during your overnight stay, they do not have an on-site restaurant. The good thing is that Treehouse Point is only 30 minutes outside of Seattle and has plenty of local restaurants for you to try. Furthermore, one of the seven treehouses is wheelchair-accessible and ADA-compliant. However, since these are treehouses they share private bathrooms on the ground level.

With that, most of their treehouses only accommodate two people except the Upper Pond Treehouse, which has one shared queen bed and two lofted single beds, accommodating four people. However, they ask that their guests not bring any children under the age of 16 for an overnight stay. They try to maintain a romantic and mature atmosphere for the ultimate adult getaway!
